Note: The class schedules in the next section are subject to change during these times impacted by COVID-19. Please contact us for more information.
Regardless of the type of class schedule below, there are 16 school days over the school year. Each day is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Hawai'i time), including breaks and a short lunch.
Also regardless of the type of schedule, students are assigned study modules between each class session and for ongoing students, between each year of study during summer break. Classes are not held during the summer following First and Second Year classes, allowing time for integration of work, travel, and personal and family time.
The study modules require completion of assigned text readings and homework questions, often of an introspective nature involving inner processing and meditation. Homework assignments are submitted to SPHS faculty one week prior to each class session. For students in Second and Third Years, modules also require interaction with practice clients, practice exercises and healing write-ups.
