Teacher
Dr. Deborah Agles has had an impressive career in medicine spanning 40+ years. She worked as an MD for the United States Navy and then moved to private practice where she has been practicing for 20+ years.
Her skills lie in the intersection of her western and alternative approaches to medicine. She prioritizes treating illnesses as naturally as possible but with the expertise and support of her medical background. Attending SPHS in 2014 expanded her skills that changed her practice, her life, and how she views the world personally and medically.
Teacher
Emi is a 2019 SPH graduate and assists with group processing and much more. Currently, she is faculty for the second and third years. She also coordinates community-building healing skills practice and process. Emi currently has a healing practice and art studio based in `Aiea, O`ahu, where she enjoys expressing her creativity through the integration of emotional and spiritual cognizance.
Emi has a BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Upon returning home to Hawai`i, Emi served as the Community and International Affairs Specialist for the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development to then progress to the Office of the Senate President. She returned to her true calling of art and energy healing in her third year of Sacred Path Healing School after the passing of her daughter, Kalaniānuenue.
Emi continues her journey of practicing compassion in Earth school with her partner Makali’i and their dog, Kalo.
Teacher
Kauakea is a 2004 SPHS graduate whose healing expertise focuses on astrology, emotional clearing, grief facilitation, and sound healing. In the second year, she teaches astrology with practical hands-on astro cards and a fill-in workbook. Her approach is fun and interactive.
Since the school began, she has been a foundational faculty helping with her professional photography and business skills. Until recently, she taught in all three years of the program in various capacities.
She is the mother of son Sam and daughter Alea, who is also a graduate of SPHS. She loves being a tutu with her grandson Ke'ohi and lives with her husband Geno in Honoka’a on the Big Island near her daughter and grandson. She is currently teaching via Zoom.
MS-Exercise Physiology & Wellness Teacher
A 2019 SPHS graduate, Wendy teaches the lifestyle segment and assists with more in the first year. She holds a master's degree in Exercise Physiology & Wellness and has a healing, life coaching and nutrition and fitness counseling practice in Kailua, O'ahu.
